This couple from Ratnagiri presented to me with primary  infertility, she had already seen more than 5 or 6 doctors, underwent multiple ovulation inductions with no results. Listening to her history, I immediately picked up that she had  hormonal imbalance; corrected her cycles with minimum medications. Third month, i got a call that her stick has shown two lines!!! The joy was doubled when we got her dating scan at 6 wks, it was a twin pregnancy!Spontaneous conception!! She rented out a place in Mumbai, stayed her entire pregnancy at Mumbai, only to happily take home two healthy baby girls. Even though the pregnancy was complicated with pre eclampsia(hypertension in pregnancy), god was kind enough ; we could sail through. At the end of a tired stressful day, these happiness are the ones which helps us move ahead!!

47 yr elderly primigravida (IVF conception) , overwhelmed with the new life in her womb when first consulted me, i knew i'm looking at a 9 months of stress!! We  jumped through a lot of hoops till the pregnancy reached term. She developed diabetes in pregnancy, had a 8cm fibroid in her uterus, adding to it; when the placenta developed, it was completely in her lower part of uterus( condition: complete placenta previa). With a few episodes of antepartum bleeding, we could successfully deliver a baby boy at term, weighing 3.2 kg by caesarean section. Post partum bleeding, successfully managed conserving her uterus and without blood transfusion!! The smile on her face... gosh!! All the stress is worth it☺️
